King's Dyke...
- Restricted length & sharp bend through Briggate, Whittlesey. Width between walls is only 14'. Approach bend slowly and make sure you have lookout on shore to watch for on-coming boats.
Ashline Lock
Navigation
- Length of lock 90', width 11'6". Boats must keep well clear of both sets of gates (at least a metre). Upstream lock gates must be closed and paddles closed. The lock must be left empty and downstream gates left open.
